PUPPY NEWS- Available one 6 month old boy Prince Harry.

BABY NEWS

April's and June's babies are now 6 and 5 wks old, respectively. And Saoirse's litter is 5 wks old too. This next week will be a very active 'wrecking crew in the kitchen'!  Both girls and boys are available.

** I still have to update the current active family list as some folks have moved to 2019.

I have learned not to post any photos of newborns until we're sure that all are doing well. Once the litter has been seen and checked by the vet at 3-4 days old and we get the all clear, then we will post the photos. They have to be all nursing on their own, their swallow and suckling reflexes have fully developed, etc. Years ago I had posted a newborn litter and the children fell in love with a certain face. But in the next new photo, that one little face was missing. Having to explain to small children the tenuous part of birthing and Mother Nature is terribly hard on children. So now we wait until all the mommas and babies are doing well and have been checked and cleared by the vets.

Thank you for understanding the process. Sometimes highly frustrating for families, but we don't want to upset or disappoint anyone, especially children.

How this page works for our new families:  I post a box for each litter with photos of the Mom and Dad. Then the first set of photos of the babies will be pictured on blue blankets for the boys and girls on pink blankets.

Then the newer photos will be posted right under the parent's photos, on top of the earlier photos. So the farther down the section you go, you'll see how they're growing and you can copy and save the photos of your 1st, 2nd and 3rd choices so far.

Both April June were bred to Bradley, a son of Beau.

This is April, immediately below. A happy silly girl too.

Now that all the pups have been born for the Fall and early Winter season, it is time for folks to send in the next payment if you haven't already done so.

Some folks have paid in full and when babies are almost ready to go home.

We thank you in advance and take care, Donna

Reminder for Procedures for picking order when Mother Nature doesn't bring us our exact count for boys or girls in our reservations placed by families:

What do we do when this happens? Well, for instance, we had expected Sweetie Pie to deliver before Teresa did. Teresa usually gets very heavy and big fairly quickly, and she really wasn't very huge this time so we thought she'd deliver after Sweetie. So two newer families targeted Teresa's litter, since Sweetie's list was full. And then Teresa only had one boy and one girl. It made the 'boy' family happy, but the second family also was waiting for a boy, and passed on the girl. So that second family has moved to the next upcoming litter, who our best guess now will be Lilly's litter, so they will get first pick boy from Lilly, or first pick from the next upcoming litter.

And Sweetie Pie also usually gets very heavy and big, and she's been about medium heavy. So if Sweetie has fewer than the girls or boys desired or reserved, then we go in order of the boy list or the girl list or the 'either' list. And I will call each family and discuss your options for waiting for the next available boy or girl.

For instance, an earlier family from FL have been waiting for the next black tricolor girl on the list, and they've been waiting for about six months now. They will get first pick from Gabrielle's litter.

And the family from CA who own Fenway, are waiting for a sister from Gillian or a cousin from Snowy to add to their family. We try to help each family match the personality of the puppy to the personality of the family. As well as their best wishes for a match.

So this can get complicated. We have learned over these past decades that this is the best and most fair way to navigate this process. Everyone will have many choices, and are welcome to move to upcoming litters if they don't fall in love with one of the babies in earlier litters.

Gabrielle's babies will be black tricolors mainly. And Lilly's and Scarlett's will be brown tri's usually.  And there are several of the girls we're still waiting on to come into season for this later spring and early summer.

We do our best to work with Mother Nature, but she out ranks us all. All we can really do is pray and everything will work out to make everyone happy. So far, after all these years, it has worked out. Prayer is a powerful thing. And we are grateful.

Most of the families find us by meeting one of our pups or dogs. Then they see the difference in the Irish Russell vs. the American JRT.

Most folks did not know there are different types of Jack Russell Terriers. When they see how smart, happy, calm and loving they are, they make an impression.

We would like to thank all of our truly, wonderful families who have found us and learned through a friend or family member who had one of our Irish babies.

And we thank God for leading so many fabulous families to our door.  We count our blessings and we count all of you as our extended family and friends. Thank you all for your dedication and friendship and for the love you have for our wonderful terriers.

How this page works: All of the newborn litters and pictures of the parents are here on the secret new puppy page. Puppy pictures are posted as follows: Families on our current Confirmed Reservation List, in descending order, (oldest reservation first then to newest) have first choice of all current litters and available puppies or adults. So its First Come, First Considered. This list is also on the hidden page at: www.trinityfarmskennel.com/hidden_page.html

Puppy pictures will be made available for private viewing to our Confirmed Families first. As soon as all confirmed families have been contacted and have been given the opportunity to either accept or decline available puppies, only then will the remaining puppies be offered to the families on the waiting list, after that, they are posted on the public Puppies page of the website and listed as available.

I haven't been able to update this chart below as it is now done in code. And I'm having to go letter by letter to change the names and it is more technical now than it was a year ago.

 THIS IS THE ACTIVE LIST:

 Holloway
 Jenkins  Zelpha

 Teegarden  Brennan

           Torgenson-later

Munns

Preferences will make this list change, so that you will be moved up the list.

For instance the Torgenson family have a Trinity boy, and have been waiting 2 years, for a Gilly line girl with certain face markings, eyepatches, etc., so they are at the top of Gilly's daughters' lists.

The Bassett family was waiting for a Teresa boy, she didn't have enough boys so they move to Lilly's litter. They had wanted a pup with a lot of color so this fits the bill.

Several families wanted a boy from Lilly with a mask and spots, since Lilly only had one boy with a full solid jacket coat, they will wait for Scarlett's or Bevan's or the next litters.

This is the most fair way to treat the families on the list. This method has evolved over decades successfully and since we are dealing with Mother Nature, the orders we place sometimes are not exactly as some families had hoped.

The folks who are active right now and waiting to choose a pup are listed in ther previous box. The inactive families are listed here.. Please note that not all the photos of each litter are posted yet. Some photos came out blurry and we'll have to retake some new ones.

Thank you for your patience as we finish getting the rest of the photos up. I have posted some videos of each litter with their chirping baby sounds. Hope these will hold you over until we can finish getting all new photos taken, edited, and uploaded here.

**We'll be setting some specific dates for these litters:

We will have a 3 to 5 day window for everyone to choose a baby. This will enable everyone to put these dates on your calendars so you'll know when we'll be contacting you for your choice of puppy. So people can plan ahead and be prepared for us to call you during those designated days. We do suggest at 5 to 6 weeks for you to choose your 1st, 2nd, 3rd choice, etc.

Once we finish the temperament testing at 6.5-7 wks then we'll start the selection process. It will be in order of when you placed your reservation, please reference the list in the box above.

When all the babies have been born, it's time for all families to send in their next puppy payment or deposit. This is step two of the process. You may send a check or you may use the button on the Reserving a Puppy page at the bottom, it takes either credit/debit cards or paypal, whichever you prefer. Please don't hesitate to call or email me with any questions you may have. We're here to make this process as pleasant, fun and as happy as possible. Thank you and have a great night, Donna
